DISCOVERING LUCCA

Pasta & Puccini with John Carafoli and John Murelle

September 30 - October 7, 2017
Tour Cost: $3950 double occupancy

Come with us on a seven-day food, music and cultural tour to the beautiful, eleventh-century, walled city of Lucca, Italy. The city is the birthplace of one of the world’s most beloved opera composers, Giacomo Puccini, who wrote La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, and Tosca. Historically, Lucca was a hub of silk production which created much wealth among its citizens.  Gastronomically, the area is now well known for its high quality olive oil and farro, something similar to spelt wheat, and chocolate.
